President: Tonia Osieczanek

Hello hockey fans! My name is Tonia Osieczanek and I am more than honored to be serving as the President of the Huntsville Havoc Booster Club for the 4th consecutive year. I can honestly say I am just as eager now as I was in my 1st season to be filling this role. I am originally from Minnesota (where they truly have “ice in their veins”) and moved to the Florida panhandle when I was 10 years old (where the ice melted!). Growing up in the north, I was around hockey a lot as a child due to my brother and several other relatives playing the awesome sport!

I served in the U.S. Army and retired as a Chief Warrant Officer Four (CW4).  There is not a day of my service that I regret, well . . . except maybe my retirement.  Either way, I am proud to have served the 22 years that I did. After a 2 year stint of being retired, I decided to go back to work in a completely different career field, but one that always had my interest – legal work.

They say in the Army you have a second family, which I found to be very true. However, I can say the same is very true of our Havoc family.  There have been so many friendships gained, whether it be with other Booster members, fans, players, players’ families, or the staff – they are all wonderful people I consider “family” in one fashion or another.  It is just awesome to come together to work for one common goal – seeing hockey succeed in the south and supporting the best team in the SPHL!! And, I must say, one of the best aspects of being a part of the “Havoc family” is seeing the many smiles on my daughter’s face during the games, when talking to other fans about Havoc, and when she gets to see and do things with the players after games and during booster events = PRICELESS!  

I have NO doubt our Executive Board and general membership will continue to accomplish wonderful things for the Havoc organization and exceed expectations.  I am very excited to be serving as the President and am looking forward to serving for and with you!  If you are already a Havoc Booster Club member, THANK YOU!  If you are not, I highly encourage you to join our group of amazing individuals; you will not regret it!  Now let’s go do great things for the Havoc!

I am originally from Massachusetts, “Go Bruins”, and I grew up playing on a lake in the winter and in the street in the summer…CAR! I always looked forward to getting the “Okay” from an older kid in the neighborhood that the ice was good to go. If you’ve never been playing hockey on a pond and hear those loud cracking sounds beneath you, you’ve missed out. I retired from the U.S. Army in 2006 after 20 years and was fortunate enough to stay in the field I love which is Chinook Helicopters! That is how I ended up in Huntsville.
